Plains, Trains and Automobiles are the theme of this inventive and problematic event. Teams must complete mechanical challenges and Wacky Races to earn respect and glory in the Scrap Yard. Each challenge involves a miniature mode of transport (usually uncompleted), the task at hand will be to complete or develop your mode of transport and then you must complete the challenge/race in front of you.

The challenges involve integrated team work, problem solving abilities and great ideas. The climax of the team event is a series of races, where groups get to battle it out against each other and test their mechanical monsters. The modes of transport can include Hot Air Balloons, Aeroplanes, Drag Cars, Boats, Rockets.....and many more.

This team building event provides challenging exercises for varying group sizes, the event can be scaled to meet specific criteria. Also the event is not just for the mechanically minded, it has aspects of design, aethetics and problem solving elements. It is ultimately a great, creative event with some incredible races to finish.
