Payment

The Events House reserves the right to charge a deposit of 50%, which should be sent together with the signed contract on booking an event. The outstanding balance will be payable 5 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed.

All our prices quoted are inclusive of delivery, setup, collection and event staff (where appropriate) but not VAT, therefore please add 20% to each price given.

Please note that the minimum booking which can be made is £450+VAT.

Event Duration

The period of which the event will run will be stated in the contract, with a standard event/games hire lasting for a maximum of 4 hours. If this is exceeded by more than 30 minutes than an additional charge will incur as seen appropriate by the events house. For events lasting over 4 hours, an additional cost of £25 per hour, per staff member present at the event shall be added to the standard event price.

Please also note that any special set up request or de-rig requirement will be charged at £25 per hour per staff member present at the event.

Delivery

On orders over £450 - Delivery is free within 50 (driving miles) of our DE65 5GB.
On orders over £650 - Delivery is free within 100 (driving miles) of our DE65 5GB.
On orders over £1200 - Delivery is free with 200 (driving miles) of our DE65 5GB.
On orders over £2000 - Delivery is free with 300 (driving miles) of our DE65 5GB.

All additional mileage will be charged at 80p per mile (one way only)

Please make provisions for parking and congestion charges where necessary.

Where Sea crossings are required please call us for a calculated quotation.

Hotels may be required for staff if the event finishes late and it is not safe to drive home. This will be charged at £80pppn.

Cancelation

If cancelled within 28 days from the booking date, clients are liable to pay 50% of the contract price. If cancelled 14 days from the booking date, clients are liable to pay 100% of the contract price.

Insurance

The Events House have £5,000,000 public liability insurance but stress that all participants use the equipment or take part in the activities provided at their own risk.

Loss or Damage

Loss or damage to the Events House equipment during events (other than fair wear and tear) will incur a charge in order to cover the cost for the loss or damaged caused, unless it is proved that such loss or damage caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of the company.

Damage caused by wilful disregard of the given instructions of the representatives of the events house, or deliberate actions resulting in damage of property will be charged to the offending participant.

Further Contractual Information

The Events House reserve the right to change the games provided due to unforeseen circumstances, In the event of this, we will attempt to contact you in advance to make you aware of these changes.

In addition to this, in the event of The Events House being unable to appear for any reason due to force majeure, including but not limted to: fire, flood, strike, failure of transport, illness, accident or injury, the client shall have no obligation or responsibility to The Events House whatsoever, safe that the Events House shall, at their discretion return any deposit or payment made prior to the event.
